MCC Compete in LETSS Badminton blitz
Mungret CC took part in a Badminton Blitz held in LETSS. They played singles and doubles matches against Thomand CC and LETSS and were very competitive. Over 40 students have now represented the school this year in Badminton.

2023/2024:
We had great interest in setting up Badminton this year and entered 6 teams in the inaugural Limerick Badminton league. Boys teams: U14, U16, U19 x2. Girls teams: U16 and U19.
Our U14 boys team won the Limerick league while our U19 girls team were runners up in their division. Both teams were mentioned in the Limerick Leader and they were delighted about this!
Some of our players also represented Limerick in the Munster inter-county competition.
